Bring a lovey festival of traditional music home

Something else today as a new album of traditional music from the Lublin region is out, here’s what it offers.

The Jagiellonian Fair 2018

Here’s a short, 3-minute video featuring the Jagiellonian Fair 2018. It was vibrant, colourful and very educational, as always. Tradition is about people with passion and the Fair is an opportunity to meet people with genuine passions, crafts passed down from generation to generation. The artists teach us a lot about crafts and authenticity. Lublin fills with colour and warmth during those days.

I look forward to this year’s edition, which takes place between 16-18 August 2019.

Which Lublin festival are you?

The festival season in Lublin is approaching again and as always, it promises to be thrilling, inspiring and stimulating.  Four big festivals, what to choose? Maybe the quiz can help.

The Jagiellonian Fair in Lublin: a festival of authentic traditional culture

An event taking place in mid-August in Lublin, Poland, it brings together artisans from various parts of Eastern and Central Europe in a celebration of authentic traditional handicrafts and culture. Other than authentic hand-made crafts displayed in colourful stalls, there are many concerts, exhibitions, workshops and meetings celebrating the wealth and beauty of traditional culture.  It’s very beautiful, brings us closer to our roots, very recommended when in Lublin, Poland.
